Overview
Drain Gang — the Swedish collective around Bladee, Ecco2k and Thaiboy Digital — has one of the most internet-native visual worlds in music. Its history was scattered across dead links, forum threads and screenshots.
Drain Archive pulls it into one place: hundreds of releases and merch pieces, a marketplace, community accounts, and now a game. I designed and built all of it.
- 218releases catalogued
- 485merch pieces documented
- ⌘Ksearch across all of it

The interface
Get out of the artwork’s way
The source material is loud — glitter, chrome, saturated purples. So the interface is dark, quiet and glassy, and lets each cover set the colour of the page around it.
Search is the front door: one shortcut, instant results across releases, merch and listings, keyboard all the way.
Drain Archive Play
Name that song in two seconds
Play is a song-battle game on top of the archive: hear a snippet, name the track, send the link to a friend and see who really knows the catalogue. There’s a daily challenge everyone plays together, a leaderboard and modes like Speed Round and Tryhard Drainer.
Motion
A video series built as a system
To grow the audience I made a short-form series about rare pieces. Instead of editing each episode by hand, I designed one motion template: new photos and facts go in, a finished 20-second vertical video comes out in the archive’s style.
